@oracularhades.com Well… every lexicon-level feature like postgates, threadgates, tags, videos, different kinds of embeds and facets complicates the protocol, but you can’t really not add things just because of that?… Ultimately Bluesky controls the app.bsky lexicon and could possibly deprecate things etc.
